Laughing Out Intensely To Everyones Reaction.
Its a play on words from the major city I grew up around but it also describes my unique style in the artwork I love to create. This is a visual guide of the many works I have done over the years. I may favor Comic Book style, Pop Art and Graffiti but no medium and style is off limits.
101 Dalmatians
2nd piece in the series of collages.
While doing the Goofy piece, serval different ideas came to mind as I worked on it. It’s easy to come up with ideas when you are already working with a Brand like Disney that has such a large catalog of characters. I figured it would be fun to see what else I could do that went well with these designs. 101 Dalmatians seemed to be a no brainer and I stumbled upon a pre patterned design while looking up the images of the characters and just ran with it.
I treated this piece as a practice toward my line work when it came to outlining everything and I really enjoyed the end result.

Close up on the detailed line work of the outline with acrylic paint on canvas.
Though acrylic can be easy to fix, the fast drying of the paint gave me no room for error, especially adding black on white. Done right the images come out nearly flawless.
